i have 2 Intel Sandy Bridge laptops.    One is core i3 and the other is core i5.

Asphalt 9 does not appear to be optimized for Sandy Bridge processors and is unplayable on both

The cars are constantly blinking and the program often crashes

That issue can be caused by lower end GPU

Sandy Bridge is officially not supported.
You need Ivy Bridge at least if you want to use Intel integrated graphics.
Since I have HD4000 in my laptop, I can say it works properly. HD4000 is the very minimum.

I have Sandy Bridge i5 on my PC and A MSI Radeon R9 280X graphics card, have no problems. Well, not since ugrading my CPU cooler and installing a new SSD.
A good graphics card is key, although difficult if you are unable to change the GPU in the laptop.
