Double BP's are only awarded once!

I do think it counts both, it just does so already from when it shows you the first.

Basically put, if you had 37 left before that and got 2 in one go at the rewards, the first BP you get already says "35 left" on it.

Same happened again on vulcan BP's, see pic.

You get both, don't worry. It's just that the counter isn't updated during the giving of the reward.
If you check your inventory after the reward process, then you will see that you received both!
