[FIXES] Release Notes for Hotfixes

What’s up, Gangstars!
 
As the worldwide release of Gangstar New Orleans is coming up, we’ve gone ahead and fixed some issues in the game for v1.0.1.

Minor issues and fixes will be listed in this thread from now on, so be sure to follow it to know what’s changing weekly! As always, continue posting your issues on the Forums; it helps a ton!

Gameplay
  • Fixed an issue that caused the game to crash after throwing a grenade.
  • Fixed an issue that caused you to lose control over your character after dying from an explosion.
  • Fixed an issue that caused users to get stuck in the tutorial menu after losing Internet connection.
  • Fixed balancing based on user feedback from the previous update.
 
Missions
  • Fixed an issue that caused the fifth objective of the mission “Munson’s Wild Ride” to not be completed.
  • Fixed an issue that caused Marie’s character to not show up during the “Witness Protection” intro cutscene.
  • Fixed an issue that allowed missions to be started while the user was being arrested.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the “Claim” icon to not work.
  • Fixed an issue that caused some missions in the Bayou to reduce influence to 0 when failed on normal.
 
Turfs / Turf Wars
  • Fixed an issue that caused the “Raid” icon in Turf Wars to not work.
  • Updated the number of people per league.
 
Items
  • Updated the vehicle icon of the “Dementor”.
 
Various
  • Various fixes to the Jar system.
  • Various updates to Store Bundles.
  • Other minor fixes.

We’ve gone ahead and fixed a bunch of issues in v1.0.2. Check out the list of changes below!

Gameplay
  • Missions will now open on the last mastered 3-star difficulty
  • Fixed an issue that caused players to be stuck in Tutorial with no way of moving
Items
  • Updated Store with new and exciting Easter gear!
  • Fixed an issue that caused errors while dismantling vehicles and Thugs.
  • Various bundle fixes

Gameplay
  • Success chance for Thugs is now influenced by their rarity level.
  • Reduced the time it takes for a Thug to complete a Turf mission.
  • Increased the cooldown for Thug assignment from 2 hours to 6 hours.
  • Cost of Health Kits reduced from 30 Diamonds to 20 Diamonds.
  • Cost of Grenades reduced from 15 Diamonds to 10 Diamonds.
UI
  • Bunny avatar will now be properly displayed when controlling a Turf.
Various
  • Various issue fixes.

Missions
- Story missions will now reward 100% more XP
- Repeatable missions will now reward 33% less XP
- Weapon missions will now grant double the amount of Cash, but will no longer grant Fusion Boosters
- Vehicle missions will now grant double the amount of Fusion Boosters, but will no longer grant Cash.

Fusing
- 1-Star items will require 33.3% less experience to fuse
- 2-Star items will require 33.3% less experience to fuse
- 3-Star items will require 34.6% less experience to fuse
- 4-Star items will require 36.3% less experience to fuse

UI
- Icons for the Turf Jar Pieces were taken out of the mission rewards screen to clear up the interface. You will still be rewarded with the pieces when completing missions.

Various
- Various issue fixes.
