Hi guys, here you can add hint for new players. You can share your experience with previous time limited events and tell them how to play during time limited events :)

A few hints:

- You will need to be online to adequetly progress through the event.

- Focus on the timed- event tokens and content.  Try to finish quests as fast as you can, (but not gem spending fast unless your starting late) since time can catch up to you fast if you stall.

- if a character task can drop timed events tokens and regular tokens, when you Collect all the regular tokens to level up a regular character, don't level him up until the event is over if you can.

- Go Estatic.  The highest happiness tier gives out an extra 10% token drop rate.  Keep it up throughout the event for maximum chances.

- The more you play, the more you earn.

- check out disney magic kingdom wiki for detailed information on rhe event.  (And more)

- Ask questions on the forums if neccesary.

- premium attractions and characters will help in progressing through the event, so it's a good idea to spend money here.

- 2000 event tokens are converted to 1 gem at the end of the event, up to 40 gems.

- during downtimes (between chapters*), collect as many time- limited tokens as you can to level up your characters, since it will become more difficult after the event is over.

- when collecting "snowgie" tokens for regular tokens, if you're up to date with the event story, and if one or two days before the last chapter containing the last character remains, collect as many main tokens as you can but don't level up any characters until the last character is unlocked unless it is neccesary.  All hands on deck will be needed to collect him in time, unless you wish to purchase him for $19.99

- when time is running out in an event while a character is in the process of being welcomed, spend gems to welcome him now, cause if the event time runs out before the character is welcomed and checked, it will be null and void and you cannot collect the character.

- Collect as much as possible, so you don't have to wait/hope for legendary chests in the future.

* Throghout the event, content will be released gradually. Like some will be released July 6th, another on July 8th, another on July 14th or whatever.  That's what I mean by downtime, it's when your up to date with the quests and are just waiting for the next set of collectables to be released on a certain date.  I call those sections "chapters".

Good tips tailmaster. One more that traps some players, me included in the past.

When you unlock a new character in the event, take note sometimes there will be more than one "!" new task unlocked. Be sure to clear all the "!" before assigning tasks to new characters.

Pay particular attention to the tasks to the left of screen. Ones with the usual yellow background do not relate to the event, the ones in event colour (probably a red colour for Lion King) are the ones you want to priortise.

All very good tips here. I would just add that there will be "tapper" events within this timed event, and the trophy one will be especially difficult for new players because you won't yet have collected enough characters/attractions to drop the trophies. If you find that you're behind on the leaderboards, and you can't seem to catch up, no matter what you do, it's not your fault. Long-term players have the upper hand. Just know that whatever the top prizes would have been will show up again later in chests or Merlin's Shop, or sometimes even as random promo deals. It's okay!

Also, going along with what tailmister said about spending money on premium time-limited characters, I agree. I recommend spending actual money for the promo deal for the characters (usually the character plus a concession or some gems), rather than using your hard-earned gems to buy the character alone. It's a far better deal in the long run, and gems are difficult to come by.

The update for iOS is live now, so get that done today before the event starts. You can actually start Woody on a new Toy Story quest as soon as you update.

If you normally play on a computer or tablet, be sure to sign in with Facebook or Game Center so you can transfer your game to your phone while you're away from home. I recommend opening the game on your phone before you leave home, and again before you log back into your bigger screen, just to be sure it "takes". Practice this tonight before the event  starts. You can be sure you're in sync by checking your gem or magic count on both devices. Check the "from" device, close the app there, then check the "to" device after you switch.

While many of the event tasks will be 8 hours or more, some will be shorter, and a quick refresh in the break room on a workday afternoon could make the difference between finishing and not.

That said, and speaking with my manager hat on now, there is nothing in this game that's worth ticking off your boss or getting written up, so take into account your workplace's culture and policies and be smart with at work gaming.

Finally, if your device is wifi only and you're traveling, remember that you can play offline, but you should sync up periodically.  McDonald's, Starbucks and most other chains have wifi, not to mention a refreshing cool drink and a place to sit down and breathe.

This is true - as long as you've progressed enough in the main storyline to have defeated Mother Gothel. If not, and you're a newer player than that, you won't see these new quests yet. But don't worry - those Toy Story quests are permanent content, and not timed!

Before I forget, most events you can start after you unlock the Calafornia Screamin' Roller Coaster, (The Big Red One) so newer players will need to progress at least to that point before you can play the event.

Also, the event currency will be THE ONLY currency you can use for the event characters/buildings. So if you have a space or character you are needing so save magic for, do it during the event. Focus only on the timed event, and get as much as you can, even if you join late. You don't want to have to rely on the Legendary chests to get any remaining items. They are not only expensive, but dodgy. You have 25 days, so pace yourself, and USE THE WIKI PAGE - it has a plethora of information. Plan your day around the event if possible. The long tasks - 8-12 hours - save for overnight, and get as much accomplished when your not sleeping as you can. And if you decide not to take the character/concession deals, don't buy the concession upfront...sometimes they offer them during a tapper event, trophy event or something and you can possibly get them easier then. Don't get stressed, and GOOD LUCK!
