I just stripped down to tier 1 armor & weapon -- no skill items, no trinkets.
During TEST -- Computer controlled opponent me is doing double the damage of the player controlled me.
Repeated TEST, using different tier 1 weapons - same result. Computer controlled character was doing double the damage of player controlled character.
