[Monthly Dragon #3] - Pixel

What did you use to get Ruby? I've been trying a couple days now and no luck, and I'm not sure I want to keep trying at the expense of trying for this one.

I tried a few times Yesterday and finally got it this morning
I used

Geiger + Fire both of them are lv 10 now I have Ruby dragon I used these 2 because they have the shortest breeding times.
Breeding time was 18hr and the hatchery time is 1 day 2hr no vip

Fire + Geiger. Shortest times. It was the 5th attempt for Ruby, 2nd with these two.

Love and black armored could be a good combo?

Spent 30 gems to open my den then made my 1st attempt
Got it on Tribal (lvl 10) + Metal (lvl 4)
Breeding time 1d14h (VIP+)
Starting to think theres realy something to the low level dragons
2nd time its happened after spending gems on my den too - thats how i got Root

My strategy this month is Lvl 10 Golden and Lvl 10 Tribal.

They are lower level, cover all the elements, Rare + Epic, and the only duplicated element is Fire, so low breed times.

First two attempts are Salamander (1 hour) and what I believe to be a Black Armor (around 13 hours with VIP)

Anyone come up with a better plan?

I just got ruby this morning with meteor (18 ) and lava (16)

I think it's not a good idea to have too much elements... Just stick with what is required...
For once you are multiplying the possibilities...

I am lvl 50 why?

Just wanted to rule out a possible explanation. I had really crummy luck with root and I was using a level 23 typhoon and level 19 plant. There was no way I should have missed out on it, but alas, no root. I'm going to use my level 14 black armor and a level 4 fire when I can to see if I get it.
