I have been playing for over a year (on windows) and I have only ever seen two of those three stars listed right now. Candy was a very long time ago, and Sleet was from last November and I think he was $30 USD real money only.

That's a nice hint to give to Julian to tell the devs to shuffle it a bit and bring back these old characters.

On second thought I've decided to make a v03 of the gear database earlier.
I've implemented the feedbacks from DeTox.
So I need some opinions about it.

There is something wrong with Goggle drive, I'll post the link shortly.

The Sets and Best Sets pages are left blank for now and will be filled out in v04, which is due to the Hessian armpiece debut.

Also the database is missing some gear parts data (as you know):
- Goldplate leg-piece
- Manticore arm-piece
- Manticore vest
- Skull Mask headgear

OK, so the Google Drive's online Excel viewer is not quite good.
This version of the database uses some non-usual formats, so I recommend to download it and open it with Excel or with a proper Excel viewer.

Yea, the color scheme doesn't show on the webpage but does when viewed locally. I'll check if I'm missing something.

Reviewed your Excel :

Lily not Orange, is Purple (Rare)
Lotus (probably purple with the specs)

Hessian is blue (Uncommon) - Defense 5, assault 5
Goldplate to be determined

Shadowfire Legs are blue (Uncommon), not Artefact (multicolor).

While it is not in the same direction (I bet you'll know what to do ;)), here's a CSV of the current info on the website:

Cheers!

Although your effort is admerable, what was already implemented by DeTox is easier, faster, and more atractive IMO. Also you made a spreadsheet, don't call it a database. We don't call engines cars.

Also, I understand you spent a lot of time and effort and it is natural you would want to share your work, but it seems a little sh*tty coming in and trying compete with the web site on the very thread dedicated to that web site.

Sorry if this seems harsh, but you did ask for opinions.

It could probably said as complementary/alternative.

Some people will probably prefer doing their little biz locally and will never want to give an email or facebook/twitter id to manage their inventory or setups on a remote page (even less share them probably). And since the page is not doing much yet, bah. Even in practical sense, the page might never reach the level you can achieve against the good old Excel sheet. Unless I quit my day job and get paid to do it. :D (Just thought of an epic way to design the "Gear setup page".)

I'm not sure about the direction (horizontal) of the spreadsheet though. In database terms for filtering and formula possibilities, I believe it probably should be vertical. (see CSV Link).

I totally disagree, it works very well. I wanted a gold set this morning with exotic being a secondary. I went to the site, clicked on gear type and gold and it gave me a list. I hovered over the options and found the one I wanted. I then clicked on the next piece of gear, rinse repeat. I found the perfect gear set I wanted in a matter of seconds. The gear section of your site works better than you think it does.

Then again maybe i'm biased because you actually set it up the way I asked which is how I personally wanted to use it.  ;)
