[EDITED] With a new workaround, on July 10, 5PM GMT+2

Dear Windows Players,

Some of you cannot launch Asphalt 8 since a few days. We are trying to get this issue solved as fast as possible, but as this issue doesn’t depend from a flaw in the game, it is hard to tell you when it will be solved.
In the meantime; a player (thank you Aguia) shared a workaround that seems to work. Note that we didn’t have the chance to try it yet:

This is what fixed the problem:

- Uninstall the game
- Create a new local window account and give the administrator power
- Install A8 in this new account
- Start the game and enter at the main menu
- Close the game
- Switch to the original Windows account
- Install A8 (it will be fast because it was already installed in the new account)
- Delete the new account and make your original account Administrator again
- Enjoy the cloud save progress again

These aren't solving the issue.
We are losing daily rewards , TLE , Porshe 911 , ...
They have to resolve it as soon as possible.
OR
I'll just quit the game.
I was born intelligent, Asphalt 8 ruined me... ::)

Many people tried it , some said the couldn't install the game after uninstalling and creating a local account. How could we trust this method ? You may read the thread on the issue.
We need a solution ; NOT SOME RANDOM SUGGETIONS

I followed the workaround steps exactly and WAS NOT able to download the game under a different windows user - same error msg.

Whoever keeps saying this works for everyone if you "follow the steps"?  IT DOES NOT WORK FOR EVERYONE.

I just followed Fabien's instructions exactly and it worked perfect everything is fine no lost of data Im posting this July 10 11:24am PST
