A Forum Area for General Chat?

I think it's a nice idea.  I'd be happy to help moderate provided there's a team of us.  I'm English and  retired, so am not in any way time limited.  However, between DML, my garden (not now, in mid winter) and theatre (yep, amdram is my major pastime pre lockdown), I already spend far too much time at the keyboard to offer to moderate full time. 

I agree that it would be good to get to know each other a little better - clearly we already have dragon adoration as a common link. 

I firmly agree that we'd need to be careful to keep politics out of it.  We have quite enough of that here with Brexit and across the Pond with the man with the mop on his head .

As Adam says, if others don't want to contribute, that's absolutely fine.  And, if things get out of hand in one way or another, it can be swiftly closed down.
