It is starting to get more an more ridiculous. It's like I see Americans getting regionals every other day and in Holland exactly zero in the last 3 years.
Give us some regionals for crying out loud!!

Is this ever going to happen?
If not, just say soand I'll change my flag to a country which does have the privilege of getting regional cups..............

More Country Specific Cups!

Hello everyone, first off, many thanks for all the great ideas for the Country Specific Cups! :)

We'd like you all to choose not more than 7 of the most important events in your country per year.
It would also be a good idea if you can mention in your comment, the importance of the celebration for your country or any other such details so that we can learn more about the potential event that could be made.

Hopefully, this way the team at Asphalt 8 can bring the events to a reality and bring everyone around the world more content!

So glad that the Australia Day Cup is included (January 26) but not so happy about the choice of flag (New Zealand).

With regional/country cups, would it be possible to offer a vehicle which reflects that country?  For Australia, the Holden would be the way to go.

Other countries may be an issue but, with many Indians playing the game, TaTa may be open to vehicle ideas.  TaTa concept cars, perhaps?  Track: Chhatrapati Shivaji Airport to downtown.  More traffic, roadworks and obstacles than the Tokyo track.  Now, there's a challenge!

On another topic (although, still relating to regions), I like to collect the in-game retro cars but, apart from mastery, have no use for them.  Is the idea of having 'retro cups' out of the picture?  Perhaps retro cups, for different regions, featuring retro cars for that area (Australia - Bathurst Easternats, featuring Torana vs. Falcon).

I understand that obtaining the rights to vehicles can be a very difficult and time consuming process.  Not to mention the technical issues.  These are just a couple of suggestions and nothing more . . .  8-)

I can understand not having country specific cups for countries with small populations or low player numbers but, as you allude to, combining several countries into a regional cup would be a good idea.

One, obviously, would be ANZAC Day (April 25) which could be an Oceania region cup.  Or, have national day cups for each of the several countries in the region and permit all countries, within that region, to participate.  For example, Waitangi Day, Australia Day, Independence Day (or, even National Day of Repentance) for PNG, Constitution Day (Fiji) etc.  That way, we could all have a crack at several national cups, per year, within our region.

It was great to see a Groundhog Day cup for Canadians and Americans. They even chose a North American car as the only option, too.
