Wow, nice to hear you guys with actual experience! I haven't written code (basic :))since 1984, so I am way behind you. But, how come only one car skids at only some spots? If it was unintentional, then any car would skid at any (random) spot? Or?

That's down to the track physics. Separate from what you see in upgrades, every car has a weight and gravity value. Every change in surface has a different "traction" value. Mess with the core programme instead of +/-ing is asking for trouble.

And GL asked.

GL can get rid of old players (without creating control issues) at any given moment in time.

Sent the updated list of videos to CC and copied in the execs, lets see what they say this time.

Do these properties change as the car is upgraded, I managed to fully pro my stradale but now it handles all weird

They're not supposed to but they do. That's part of the problem. As you upgrade say, handling, the car's "weight" is reduced. Lighter car equals tighter turning circle. When that car's code meets the global track code strange things happen. That weird floating on air feel is some of it.

Still haven't figured out that GL does what he wants with anything? Do the right thing with anyone?..... You, the elders?
You amaze me......
Harry; you talk about "traction": you mean "attraction", don't you? Or "gravity"?
And when you say "If you run a new test count with a speed h @ ck, the Dart misses / behaves the same way at > 400 km / h." What do you mean by that? What do you know about it?

No, traction is the grip on a road the tyre has, attraction is weight and gravity.

I've run hundreds of test accounts, I know more than most and less than a few. ;)

Okay, okay; it would have been better to talk about "friction" in these cases.
Don't forget that we're philanthropists compared to you!! The word "friction" speaks more than the word "traction" for most of us.
And don't forget also that the weight of a car doesn't matter on straight and flat lines (Island style).... Even if the handling of the car is related to its weight, it's an immutable characteristic that doesn't change, even if you improve the car. When you improve a car, you don't change its weight....
