First, let me say that I've only played the 2d mobile version of midnight pool, but I'm really excited for the Wii Ware version.  I think it has a good chance of being the definitive pool game for Wii, since Wii Play only had a 9-ball game.

That said, I have some suggestions/requests for it--because i want it to be the best game it can be.  1- please include a menu option to change or adjust the music, on the title screen and during gameplay.  it's a simple feature, but it makes a big difference.  2- some kind of Mii integration would be fantastic, if only for the multiplayer mode.  3- the controls really need to be spot-on.  4- online play.

That's my 2 cents.  If anyone else has ideas, feel free to chime in.

The only Gameloft game for WiiWare I've got already is that tv game show one and it has sound and music settings, so that's a good sign I guess?

I'd love to see Mii support as well.

I think WiiWare is SLIGHTLY overpriced, by perhaps 25% or so, which isn't a lot but it's enough to make buyers slow to decide, so I'd suggest to all WiiWare producers to stop trying to milk the captive audience as they're on to the price thing and they're already sorta tired of it.  Paying $10 or more for a WiiWare game with the same title as one purchased for a mobile device at less than half that price is not something that will make buyers too happy once they catch on to it.
