Since RF 2008 was released in September last year I expect the next version of the game to come out in about 4 months. That's a long time to wait...

WRONG! Another company already has the licence and already rolled out EURO 2008 for mobile phones (hint: it's the same company that released the PC and consoles versions).
Double Agent is right. It's still too early to talk about the next Real Football. If things keep going like this, soon we will have a RF 2010, RF 2011 and of course RF 2012 topic. Seriously.

The game EURO 2008 is completely crap. I solved it in less than an hour - and deleted it right away, while RF 2008 3D is on my phone ever since release  The only thing I want implemented in RF 2009 would be a name editor for the players - but I don't think, Gameloft will do us players this favour |

i hope this game will be available for 176x220 phones like k750i/w810i..... like Real football2007 3D, & not only for 240x320 coz they r not only who buy & have right to play & we r not.

Yes, it's the same thing. It's just the americans that call it "soccer" for some reason. In every other part of the world it is called football, the way it SHOULD be called.

Real Football Series deserve both Java and Symbian versions, 2D and 3D. Football is a global game. Let the next RF be not limited to Java/J2ME format because Symbian OS phone owners deserve to play this magnificent game as well.

well, 2009 real football, need to be 3d and have a bluetooth multiplayer option... also a team editor and manager... but i think that as happend with 2008... 2009 will be the same game with "better graphics", i mean, just 1 or 2 weather effects and that's all... we need also american tournament , teams like boca, river, chivas, corintians are very good and sometimes better than the european teams!

Agreed. I want to see more Bluetooth games from Gameloft. sometimes better than the european teams!
